Orbit Project
The 6595 ha Orbit Property is located in northern BC within the Toodoggone Mining District. The district is endowed with both epithermal gold and porphyry copper-gold deposits, most notably the Kemess Project owned by Centerra Gold. The Omineca Resource Road provides access to the region from Mackenzie, BC.
The core area that makes up the Orbit Property was acquired in 2025 after the advanced interpretation of satellite remote sensing data originally collected to evaluate the company’s Theory Project, located 14 kms to the west. The project area has been overlooked by previous explorers with no historical reports or documented mineral occurrences present within the property boundary.
Initial field work in 2025 resulted in the discovery of strongly altered intrusive rocks with copper and gold grades consistent with known porphyry deposits of the region.

Eagle Plains Exploration
The core area making up the Orbit Property was identified through advanced interpretation of remote sensing data originally collected to evaluate Eagle Plains' Theory Project, 14 km to the west. Deliverables provided by EarthDaily Analytics identified a large area to the east of Theory with hydrothermal alteration likely associated with porphyry-style mineralization, prompting Eagle Plains to stake the Orbit claims.
2025 Field Program
The 2025 reconnaissance program was jointly funded by Sun Summit Minerals Corp. and conducted by TerraLogic Exploration Inc. of Cranbrook, BC, under the direction of Jarrod Brown, P.Geo. A single day of field work by a 5-person crew resulted in 39 rock samples and the discovery of gold, copper and silver mineralization associated with the remote sensing anomaly, with particularly strong alteration and mineralization noted over a distance of 300 m in the newly named Calypso Zone.
Highlight samples included JBOIR011 (3.80 g/t Au, 130 g/t Ag) from a steeply dipping, 25 cm quartz vein with galena; THOIR009 (1.37 g/t Au, 0.478% Cu, 26.9 g/t Ag) from a strongly altered intrusive with stringers of chalcopyrite and bornite; and THOIR011 (0.78 g/t Au, 0.964% Cu, 10.3 g/t Ag), a float sample of intensely silicified intrusive with semi-massive chalcopyrite and bornite. The traverse that identified the Calypso Zone ended in mineralization, and less than 5% of the target anomaly area was prospected during the single-day program, leaving high-priority targets untested.
Rock samples were submitted to ALS Geochemistry in North Vancouver, BC, an ISO/IEC 17025–accredited laboratory, and were sealed in the field and transported by TerraLogic personnel to maintain chain of custody. Analytical methods included full multi-element characterization by four-acid digestion with ICP finish (ME-MS61) and gold analysis by 30 g fire assay with AAS finish (Au AA23), with samples returning greater than 10 g/t Au re-assayed by fire assay with gravimetric finish (Au GRA21). Given the small sample size and brief duration of the program, no field duplicates or Certified Reference Material standards were introduced in the field; ALS performed internal QA/QC checks including duplicates and standards, and no significant exceedances were noted. Several samples have also been sent for petrographic analysis to Precision Petrographics of Langley, BC, with results pending.
2026 Field Program
The 2026 work program will build on the success from the 2025 field season which was then the first known recorded exploration on the property. The Calypso Zone, found in 2025, is defined by copper mineralization located over a 300 m area, hosted in silica-sericite altered intrusive rocks. The objective of the 2026 field program at Orbit will be to better define, and expand, the Calypso Zone and explore other remote sensing anomalies to find additional mineral showings, and identify prospective trends for further follow-up.
The planned 2026 fieldwork includes:
- Prospecting, geological mapping, and geochemical sampling based at fly camps nearest to zones of interest.
- Property-wide silt sampling on 1st and 2nd order streams – used to identify mineralization up-stream/in basins.
- Prospecting, mapping, rock sampling of Calypso Zone
- Reconnaissance of prioritized remote-sensing anomalies identified in 2025
- Soil sampling down-ridge of altered or mineralized structures
Eagle Plains is the designated operator on the project with fieldwork managed by TerraLogic Exploration Inc. with helicopter and logistical support from the Sun Summit’s JD Camp as required.
Joint Venture with Sun Summit
A formal agreement has been reached with Sun Summit Minerals Corp. to form a definitive Joint Venture on the Orbit Project by December 31, 2026, to facilitate continued exploration on the property. Eagle Plains has been named operator, with initial ownership of Sun Summit Minerals Corp. (51%) and Eagle Plains (49%). The arrangement builds on the companies' existing partnership at the neighbouring Theory Project, located 14 km to the west.
Future Work
A 2026 follow-up field program is now underway. Priority targets identified during the 2025 reconnaissance program, including areas along strike from the Calypso Zone discovery and the broader remote sensing anomaly, of which less than 5% has been prospected, remain untested and will be a focus of continued exploration once the Joint Venture with Sun Summit is finalized. Results from the pending petrographic analysis at Precision Petrographics are also expected to help refine target areas ahead of the next field season.
Details
Geology
Tier-1 Geology
The Orbit Project straddles the Quesnellia and Stikinia terranes, host to many of BC’s producing and past producing porphyry deposits, and is underlain by prospective Early Jurassic granodioritic rocks of the Pitman Batholith in fault contact to the west with Lower to Middle Jurassic sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the Hazelton Group of Stikine terrane. Available geologic data from the BCGS currently exists at a regional scale only and continued field work will work toward refining a property scale geologic map.
Remote sensing deliverables provided by EarthDaily Analytics identified a large area of hydrothermal alteration likely associated with white mica, sericite and illite - typical indicators of porphyry mineralization - extending east from the Theory Project. Mineralization documented to date includes quartz veining with chalcopyrite and galena, chlorite- and epidote-altered diorite gneiss, and intensely sericitized to silicified intrusive rocks with stringers and semi-massive chalcopyrite and bornite, consistent with the tenor of mineralization seen at other known, bulk-tonnage porphyry deposits of the region.
Prominent Exploration District: The Toodoggone is regarded as a highly prospective, deposit-rich, under explored geologic region in north-central BC. It’s best known for the past-producing Kemess Mine currently owned by Centerra Gold Inc. (“Centerra”). Centerra recently announced a positive mineral resource update and PEA on the Kemess Main, South, Underground and East Deposits with average grades of 0.39 g/t Au and 0.18% Cu (1). The district has recently attracted investment from other senior mining companies including Freeport-McMoRan who is now 60% owner and operator of the Joy Project, originally optioned from Amarc Resources, after spending over $35 million in exploration (2). Significant exploration success at the Joy Project includes the recent discoveries of the Aurora (271m of 0.98 g/t Au, 0.25% Cu, and 1.93 g/t Ag) and Twin Deposits (300m of 0.51 g/t Au, 0.23% Cu and 0.5 g/t Ag) in 2024 and 2025 respectively (3,4). Another senior producer, AngloGold Ashanti, recently invested >$38 million into Thesis Gold and Silver Inc. to fund activities related to the Lawyers-Ranch gold-silver project (5).

History
There are no documented Assessment Reports filed with the BC government (ARIS) and no MinFile occurrences within the Orbit claim boundary, with the closest known mineral occurrence - the Calypso Zone discovery itself - being 8 km from any previously documented showing. Management believes the absence of historical exploration may be due, in part, to a lack of obvious geophysical and geochemical anomalies at a regional scale: publicly available geophysical data does not show significant magnetic anomalism typical of porphyry deposits in the region, and the Regional Geochemical Survey (RGS) database does not exhibit strong anomalies in the tributaries draining the property. For these reasons, it is probable that the 2025 Eagle Plains/Sun Summit program represents the first-ever geologic investigation of the property.
